On 15th July 2023 Apsley Business School was delighted to welcome the Hon.\u00a0 MICHAEL OKYERE KOFI BAAFI to our academic community by conferring Doctor Honoris Causa at Apsley House, London with our collaborative partner in celebration of his outstanding contribution to Sustainability and Youth Leadership. His acceptance speech touched on these themes and highlighted his vision and passion for the next generation of Youth Leaders.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

He is currently the deputy minister at the department for trade and industry in Ghana\u00a0 and the Member of Parliament for the New Juaben South Constituency., but before assuming this role he held a number of senior roles in several sectors, notably as the CEO of the Ghana Free Zones Authority. However the Academic Committee was most impressed by his academic participation in a host of conferences, promoting sustainability and the development of youth engagement across the African Continent.<\/span><\/p>
